The course meanders amongst the hillsides, affording splendid views of the Sintra hills. It is divided into two well-defined parts a low-density residential area and an untouched natural environment. The signature holes, noted for both their beauty and their difficulty, are the 2nd, dubbed “Augusta” after the 13th at the famous course in Georgia, and the 18th, aptly named “The Grand Hole”. The elegant, modern Belas clubhouse is decorated in shades of terra cotta, blue and yellow. Through the bay window of the restaurant there is a magnificent view over rolling green hills with the Pena Palace on the horizon.
