One of the most anticipated collections for Autumn/Winter is none other than that from J.Lindeberg. The Swedish golf lifestyle specialists have certainly upped their game once more for this season, and here we take a glance at some the new garments; covering styles, colours and what’s making waves in golf fashion right now…

Merging fashion and function with progressive tailoring and an omnipresent Scandinavian edge, JL’s latest collection is all set to storm the fairways this Fall. Drawing inspiration from the Northern Lights, a natural light spectacle display in the sky, J.Lindeberg focuses on colours and tones designed with the modern man in mind. The cuts are elegant, the craftsmanship is genuine and the technical innovations are executed with a functional point of view.

JL are at the forefront of golf fashion innovation, ever striving to push their collections in a new direction while bridging the gap between fashion and function for the everyday golfer. This season for example, their approach is modern and sporty, with the “J.Lindeberg two-stripe” a significant graphical focus.

As ever, JL’s trademark elegance and craftsmanship are evident, while new themes of refined patchwork adorn a number of inventive new pieces, many of which are made from trailblazing fabrics. One such introduction is micro-stretch – a Japanese polyester material that enables optimum swing comfort and ultimate style. But then we have come to expect nothing less from J.Lindeberg, the great bastion of 21st Century golf fashion.

Continuing with the street-meets-course vibe, we see the return of the Jack shirt, a popular item from last season now revamped with new patterns and colours that will compliment all manner of trouser, from pair of slim-fitting chinos to a technical pant. The Varden polo is one of Autumn’s must-haves this year, with an on-trend button down collar and twin chest pockets. Like many other shirts in this latest collection, there’s a viable cross-over from course to street.

The new and stylish Livingston Loro Zeelander Jacket (pictured above left) is one of our favourite additions this season. The ultimate outerwear piece, it oozes class and will have you feeling a million dollars. Featuring the Loro Piana Storm System, the Livingston is fully waterproof and can be worn during stormy weather. Elsewhere is an inner layer that zips up into a mock neck, the wearer stays fully protected from wind and rain in a well tailored suit coat that has all of the best functional elements, but also looks and feels like a knockout high-fashion piece.

No J.Lindeberg collection would be complete without their infamous selection of belts and knitwear. New additions to the belts include the Sloper and Cutter and this season also sees the arrival of the Kian; a quarter zip knit made from merino wool in a choice of 6 colours to suit your personal style agenda. Pair any of these items with the large selection of trousers available and you have already created an outfit suitable for on and off course wear.

s you can see, J.Lindeberg continues to do what it does best this term: that’s pushing the boundaries towards creating excellence in the name of the fashion conscious golfer. There is something for everyone this season, so why not view the J.Lindeberg AW12 Collection in its entirety today!
