Victorious Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley planted a ceremonial pine tree and unveiled a plaque to officially open his joint redesign of the North Course at Quinta do Lago on the Algarve.

On the 7th of October during the Inauguration Tournament the Ryder Cup 2014 together with the Captain Cart were in exhibition at the 18 hole at Quinta do Lago North.
