Around 4 kilometers from the Costa Brava’s famous beaches of St. Feliu de Guixols and Platja d’Aro lies the Costa Brava Golf Course, designed by Hamilton Stutt and Co. this 5,636 meters (Par 70) golf course opened for play in 1968. It is a beautiful location right in the heart of abundant and diverse vegetation of the Mediterranean.
Studded with cork oaks, olives, and pines, the main challenge on the first 9 holes involves dodging several trees, before chipping onto the greens. The second nine are flat and wide, with two, large, artificial lakes that end in a bay by the sea.
Club de Golf Costa Brava enjoys a privileged position near the picture perfect coastline of the Costa Brava which is home to four golf courses ranked inside the continent’s top 50, and a further 3 that have been chosen to host European Tour events.
There is a genuine Catalonia farm adjacent to the club house which dates back to 1841. The restaurant offers spectacular view of the 18th hole. It is also private club but is open to visitors all the year round.
