The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship takes place in St Andrews this week, one of the undisputed highlights of the European Tour which brings together all the top golfers on what is perhaps the most famous and historic golf course in the world.
Alfred Dunhill has been connected with golfing events at St Andrews for almost three decades. Inspired by this longstanding relationship with golf, Dunhill presents an exquisite new range of golfing apparel, fusing hundreds of years of sporting history with modern style to compliment any sartorial sportsman.
Fully considering the ergonomics of movement, the collection aims to be the world’s most luxurious and technically advanced range of sportswear. Featuring a selection of premium polos, jumpers, trousers and jackets, the range utilises the most luxurious materials and the most advanced technologies.
We have been excited about the launch of this impressive new range here at TRENDYGOLF for months now. It is a true reflection of the DNA inherent in Dunhill – a quintessentially British luxury brand founded in 1893 by Alfred Dunhill.
Traditionally played on the open coastal foreshore, links golf is generally considered to be the purest form of the game which is reflected in the collection’s feeling of classic luxury.
Made for the man who wants to feel confident in both his swing and his style, the collection is designed to be worn both on and off the course, keeping in mind Dunhill’s ethos of functionality and style.
A deluxe long-sleeve polo crafted out of 100 per cent lambswool ensures optimum warmth on course, while a selection of sleek cool-max polos keeps you feeling cool and playing your best during the warmer days. A luxurious mercerised cotton provides a refined look and super-soft touch.
Designs include stylish tone-on-tone and contrast stripes along with a subtle graphic polo, all of which add depth to any outfit. Team this with a pair of Dunhill’s premium technical trousers to create a look which is both stylish and timeless.
The trousers, made from a premium lightweight cotton, have an injection of elastane which gives that extra stretch to enhance movement and provide a perfect fit. An unfinished hem gives you the chance to tailor them personally for each individual need.

A V-neck and roll neck provide exceptional mid-layer staples. Crafted from the finest merino wool and designed to help regulate body temperature, the jumpers provide an impeccable fit. Often referred to as nature’s performance fabric, merino wool is composed of hollow fibres which means that not only does it provide superior warmth, it also remains breathable.
Every detail has been considered in this beautifully crafted, heavy knit jumper for when it really starts to get cold. The oversized neck can be rolled down to cool off or can be kept up to act like a snood. Vertical stitches under the arm add extra stretch meaning your swing will not be hindered.
The real showstopper of the range has to be the pack-able down jacket, the ultimate in luxury golf wear, featuring a range of technically advanced fabrics. The water-repellent fabric is both noise-reducing and breathable, painstakingly engineered for the perfect fit. The padded down front panel means you are kept warm with minimal restriction, and the thick knitted collar, cuff and hem keep out those piercing winds. Alternatively, the gilet provides another layering option, keeping the body’s core warm and allowing complete freedom of movement.
