FootJoy has unveiled design enhancements in its DryJoys and HyperFlex models for 2016, which it hopes increases the products’ comfort, performance and stability.
“With new upgrades to the increasingly-popular DryJoys range, golfers have the chance to combine ultimate style and unparalleled performance when taking to the course,” said Paul O’Hagan, FootJoy Marketing Executive.
“HyperFlex has also been a big hit since its launch earlier this year and now we’ve added even more colour combinations to reflect the latest fashion and athletic trends expected for 2016.
“Our R&D team has worked extremely hard to improve the performance of these models yet again and come up with some inspiring new designs that will be donned by many of the world’s best players.”
DNA (DryJoys Next Advancement)
The 2016 DNA boasts a new upper design, and Tornado by Softspikes Tourlock cleat system. For the first time, the shoe will be available through the MyJoys custom service, with new colours also available.
New colours: White/Black, Black, White/Platinum, White/Red and White/Blue (Boa)
3D FoamCollar – moulds to the player’s ankle for comfort, fit and support thanks to decreased movement of the foot.
SnugFit Tongue – engineered utilising thin, soft, and breathable materials – including MicroVent technology – to conform to the top of player’s foot for fit and comfort.
ChromoSkin Leather System by Pittards – full-grain leather system is lightweight, durable, supple and waterproof.
Xtra-Thick FTF FitBed – two densities of Cushioning FTF (Fine-Tuned Foam). Firmer for stability around the perimeter of the FitBed and softer in the heel and forefoot for comfort.
Nitro Last – full-rounded toe character, slightly shallow forefoot, slightly narrow heel and standard instep. The extra depth helps accommodate a thicker fit-bed for enhanced cushioning.
