Nike Golf and Tiger Woods are pushing technology in golf footwear yet again with the release of the TW’15.
Woods’ latest signature shoe is the first to feature Nike’s Flyweave technology in the upper. It integrates the Dynamic Flywire into a Flyweave upper with a Nike-Free outsole. The result gives Woods more stability, fit and flexibility.
“Nike keeps answering the bell every time I want to push the envelope,” Woods said in a release. “The new Flyweave technology provides even more stability and support for my foot, and when you pair that with the Free-inspired outsole, I noticed I can push off the ground better and finish my swing with power.”

With the Flyweave technology being lightweight and golf-specific to the Nike-Free inspired outsole, the TW’15 is now 10-percent lighter than the 2014 model.
The TW’15 also features an outsole that is 3 millimeters lower to ground to maximize ground feel and it uses Integrated Traction in the toe area of the shoe for more flexibility through his swing.

The TW’15 golf shoes are available in three colorways – university red/black, metallic silver/black and black/white. A limited number of the TW’15 shoes will be available Feb. 2 on nike.com, but the rest will be available March 5 with pre-orders beginning on Feb. 12. Cost: $250.
