Always functional; always stylish. Peak Performance® aims to create innovative garments focusing on the golfer’s needs. The Swedish brand continues to combine its heritage with advanced technology, ensuring the perfect blend of comfort, performance, protection and aesthetics.
The range’s technical fabrics are perfect for spring showers and the heat of summer. Using extensive design experience and product knowledge from decades of keeping skiers warm and dry – without affecting performance levels – the inventive brand’s SS15 apparel gives golfers the confidence to be themselves on the fairways.
This year’s new concept is the slim-line Hero range, with a slimmer contemporary fit, uncompromising detailing in technically advanced fabrics, and a tight colour palette which affords the wearer a stylish, professional appearance. Below, we describe some of the new lines in detail, to prepare you for even the most unpredictable days on the course.
HERO POLOS
The Hero line begins with a technical polo range which comes in a range of designs and each offers exceptional breathability and cooling. The Timaru polo is made of a soft, stretchy material which has moisture- wicking polygiene technology to transfer sweat away from the body, while the Amuri polo includes an anti-odour fabric. The Panmore Stripe polo has a slightly different look with a smaller collar and three oversized buttons.
HERO SHORTS/TROUSERS
Next up is the magnet grey Dave Tech Short and Maxwell Tech Pant, both of which have been designed with the golfer in mind. The regular fit shorts and trousers each comprises a stretch 3xdry fabric to ensure comfort and the water-repellent material, aqua-guard zippers, and a pocket are strategically placed so as not to hinder the swing. For a a more striking look, the Kinlock Pant features luminous striping within the design.
HOWICK JACKET
Windproof, waterproof, breathable, and soft, the three-layer Howick Jacket is a shell you won’t want to leave at home. The outermost layer of clothing, which comes in either black or off white, offers the highest degree of weather protection and ventilation; it features tunnel tape with elastic at the sleeve endings, a drawstring at the bottom of the hem, and even a chinguard to avoid chafing.
FINAL WORD:
Exceptional breathability combines with full movement to provide the ultimate in comfort and water-and wind-proofing on the fairway, while retaining the functionality demanded by all golfers. And, after all, who could be better in protecting against the elements than the Scandinavians …?
