Well, Spring is here, for most of us that is, and as such we thought it necessary to look at some of the current trends emerging in the collections of 2013 so far.
What promises to be a bold and bright season, 2013 has a lot to live up to after the success of 2012. Looking at vibrant colour pallets and striking designs, this season we have an abundance of new product that is sure to cause a stir on the fairways, and in the clubhouse.
First off, we must draw your attention to colour. Spring is packed full of pastels and lighter shades, which blend seamlessly on and off the golf course. Take Lyle & Scott for example, a brand rich in heritage and paying homage to the game’s history, but expect to see shades of pink, yellow, aqua and peach along with the more traditional and toned down colours this time around. One of our favourite pieces from L&S this season is the Chest Pocket polo which is available in four different colours.
Hugo Boss is fast becoming the go-to brand for seasonal trends while taking a slightly different approach to others by providing four seasonal drops as opposed to the conventional two. This ultimately keeps things fresh and exciting and also puts Boss customers into an anticipatory state; wanting the next best thing.
The Pro collection, which branches off into the Martin Kaymer collection also, offers some of the best technical clothing in the business, with corals, light blues and reds being the main focus for Spring. Pair these with last season’s chinos or this season’s shorts (weather permitting) and you have a complete outfit that is sure to impress your playing partners on the first tee.
J.Lindeberg has, and always will be, a master when it comes to colour for their collections. This season, taking a new and exciting approach to their drops, JL have revealed some of their most striking colours to date, all of which work well with other items from the collection.
Hints of green, blue, orange, yellow and red are readily available on their own or as part of a combination allowing the freedom to match your shirt with a variety of different pants and belts. This is where J.Lindeberg really come into their own. Focusing on making it very easy for golfers to complete outfits is something the Swedish fashion house are very proud of. Why not check out the collection in its entirety today and decide for yourself.
Of course, no lowdown of colourful brands would be complete without referring to Puma Golf! Known for their vibrancy over recent years, Puma Golf never fail to come up with some truly ambitious garments that can inject a bit of passion and variety into a bland wardrobe.
This season’s colour palette consists mainly of blues, reds, whites and the popular cabaret. Take a look at the latest offering from Puma Golf and see if you can find something you like – we reckon you will!
