Valle Romano Golf is an exceptional 18-hole course inaugurated in 2010 and constructed to meet the highest quality standards; with such a distinguished designer you would expect a top quality course, and this is exactly what you get.

The golf course is in quite a spectacular setting with views of both the sea and the mountains. You know you are in for a treat from very first tee, with a magnificent downhill Par 5 dogleg inviting you to cut the corner.

All of the Par 3’s are challenging, especially with the breezes that come off the sea. The 12th is another spectacular hole, with a steep drop to the fairway below, and an invitation for the big hitter to go for the green a little over 274 meters (300 yards) away.

Thought to be part of the European Tour, its fairways can adapt to players of all levels and it has large greens with their gentle but long slopes and large number of flag positions, they were designed so that each hole on the course can be easy or very difficult.

The player is warmly welcomed when arriving; during his round he is given a gazpacho, in summer and a hot chocolate in winter. When he finishes the marshals’ team offer themselves to clean his clubs and shoes as a house courtesy. The golf course has Buggies with GPS as well as an ambulance buggy for emergencies.

A wooden booth with an inter-phone has been fitted on the green of the 8th hole for such purpose with a direct line to the restaurant. There is a menu in this booth that contains sandwiches, various sweet and savory appetizers, soft drinks and energy drinks that players can order as they pass through this part of the course and get at hole 9.
