Golfe do Morgado is situated 5kms north of Portimão in the Algarve, Portugal, and boats fantastic views of the Monchique mountains to the north. The course is set amongst valleys, rivers and woodland, interspersed with vine and citrus farming. Golfe do Morgado has gentle undulating fairways, deep bunkers and large tees and greens with numerous pin positions. The planting of around 500 olive trees compliments the existing native vegetation. The clubhouse is centrally situated between both nine hole loops, with an elevated and commanding southern exposure view across 11 golf holes, orange groves, and natural unspoiled hillside.
At 6,399m, this par-73 course, designed by European Golf Design, is characterized by large greens and wide fairways which demand good putting skills and and approach shot accuracy shot’s to avoid aggressive bunkers Morgado Golf is one of the longest in the region and features a range of practice facilities. The Clubhouse offers stunning panoramic views over the course and surrounding nature of the 980 hectare estate, part of the Morgado do Reguengo Resort, The Morgado do Reguengo Resorts second course Alamos which is situated on the same estate offers a different golfing option.
