Cobra Golf today unveiled T-RAIL (Transitional Rail) its first, all-hollow iron-hybrid set, taking super game improvement clubs to the next level. T-RAIL, so they say, combines the forgiveness of a Cobra Baffler hybrid with the precision of an iron in a one-of-a-kind set of clubs that are designed for anyone looking for a better game.

T-RAIL Irons fuse a hollow, hybrid shape with an iron face and topline, creating an iron-hybrid design that they claim delivers the perfect blend of distance, forgiveness and accuracy.

“T-RAIL irons make it easy for beginners and golfers who have lost some distance and control to gain the confidence needed to play better and have more fun,” said Tom Olsavsky, VP of R&D at COBRA Golf. “Players who need max forgiveness and are looking for more distance will be amazed at how far and straight they hit these, even being able to get them airborne from tough lies.”

The innovative design of the T-RAIL combo set combines a hollow, iron-hybrid construction in the 6-PW, SW with a 5-hybrid to make a 7-piece set for maximum forgiveness, high launch and improved gapping through the set. T-RAIL Irons are available in both men’s and women’s set make-ups.

TECHNICAL STUFF

The hollow body construction creates a lower, deeper centre of gravity than traditional cavity-back iron designs allow and makes getting the ball airborne and on the desired target line easier than ever before.

The Baffler Rails make their way into the irons, providing excellent turf interaction for more speed and stability out of every lie. A high-strength, forged steel face designed with E9 Technology features a thin pocket from heel to toe to enhance ball speed and distance on off-centre hits.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The Men’s T-Rail seven-piece comb set will be available from 15th November 2019 and will retail at £699 for steel and £799 for the graphite option.

Coming in a black and blue colourway there are both left and right hand options (although lefties don’t get a graphite option) with 5-hybrid and 6-SW irons coming with COBRA ULTRALITE 50g graphite shafts (Reg, Lite) or COBRA FST ULTRALIGHT Steel shafts (Regular) and COBRA Lamkin REL midsize grips.

A 4, 5 and/or 6-hybrid are also available through custom for the ultimate combo set with T-RAIL performance.

The Women’s T-RAIL Graphite Combo Set retails at £799 and comes in a black and lilac colourway, comes with a 5-hybrid and 6-PW, SW irons that utilize COBRA ULTRALITE 50g graphite (Ladies flex) shafts and COBRA Lamkin REL grips in midsize.
