Many of you have been hitting the practice ground hard this season in preparation for one of the most important dates in the golfing diary, the Club Championships.

We here at TrendyGolf know how important it is to most to look good out on the course. After all, looking good makes you feel good, and feeling good makes you play better!

So with that in mind, we have pieced together three of our top outfits for your Club Championships that will make you stand out from the rest and give you the confidence to sink that winning putt!

Classical

The first outfit consists of subtle tones such as whites, blues and greys. A classic, more traditional look that is clean cut and perfect for course and clubhouse. Those that have played the game for years and embrace the heritage of the game opt for a cleaner look that is sophisticated and stylish.

Chinos are a great start to the outfit as they are one of the more popular trouser choices this season. Lightweight and versatile, the chino can be worn with pretty much anything.

A simple button down polo gives you a more refined look and these work really well on their own or under a knit if there is a chill in the air. Add a belt and some smart shoes and your outfit is complete.

Technical

Some of you may prefer the technical garments on offer from such brands as J.Lindeberg, Ralph Lauren RLX and Aquascutum. Made from moisture wicking fabrics, these items keep the wearer cool and dry whilst out on the course by removing moisture and odour away from the body.

Technical shirts are great this season and as brands have progressed, their designs have altered so that a technical garment can now be worn both on and off course with no hesitation.

Lightweight and breathable pants or shorts are a must this summer too. When it gets warmer outside, these activate fast and keep the wearer nice and cool.

Sporty

We know a lot of golfers have swayed towards a more fresh and sporty look for their on course attire. Shoe manufacturers have taken to this like a duck on water and now produce shoes with a soft rubber sole, suitable for the course and club house. Other brands have fused colour into their collections appealing to a more garish golfer.

Bold and bright colours often make statements and whether you go all out or just inject some colour to your outfit is totally up to you. Keep things fresh by popping some colour into your outfit, whether this is with the shirt, belt or glove, it will certainly add an extra element to your look.
