Uncage your game

Ecco are known for the awesome quality of their leather. The are the only golf brand who control the quality of the leather from farming it all the way to the tanning process and then making the shoes themselves in their own factories. So it’s an unusual move when they bring out a leather free golf shoe. But golf footwear is evolving, and not everyone wants a heavy leather golf shoe.
The Ecco Cage Evo is a new spiked golf shoe, that takes the design of the Cage, and makes it lightweight for extra comfort. The leather upper is replaced with a combination of textile bonded with polyurethane webbing. It’s lightweight, comfy, and hard wearing.
Other features include the unique, one-piece, stability cage that wraps from the heel through the midsole and across the toe box that the shoe takes its name from.
An anatomical outsole design that aligns and moves in unison with the foot’s essential ligaments and muscles. Essentially the shoes move with your feet rather than against them. An integrated, TPU shank that matches the foot’s natural shape provides superior levels of comfort and fit, while a removable inlay sole offers extra width for those who need it.
The Ecco Freedom Fit combines a snug heel setting with a roomier forefoot area that allows the toes to move naturally.
The Cage Evo is water repellant, treated to Ecco’s Hydromax process. They also feature a lightweight, low-to-the-ground construction, and CHAMP SLIM-Lok cleat system.
We’re loving the grey and yellow pair, while we understand that the orange and the black pairs might appeal to a larger audience.
