Golf San Vigilio Seis is located in the holiday region Alpe di Siusi, one of the most beautiful 18-hole golf courses in North Italy enjoys a quiet, idyllic location in the heart of the Dolomites world heritage site. Playable from March to November (850 m above sea level), the 60-hectare course is beautifully embedded in the landscape.
The well maintained and idyllically situated golf course offers canyons, water hazards and water falls, long fairways and less difficult holes. Hole 1 goes trough idyllic lakes and at “Hole in One – Hole 4” you can play, directly after the wild river, on the widespread green.
Hole 15 is a Par 3 with the highest height difference in all of Europe and deserves a record in the World Guinness Records. The highlight is hole No. 15, Par 3, with the largest difference in height in Europe.
While you are thinking about your shot making strategy, it could happen that the sight of the Dolomites takes away your breath – your concentration gets lost because you are dreamily glancing at the south tyrolean mountains.
The project of the golf course was executed by the landscape architect Bernd Hofmann and by the golf pro Wolfgang Jersombeck one of the most famous golf players of the German PGA tour,
“One of the most fantastic 18-hole golf courses in the North of Italy” – this is the unanimous opinion of experts.
