Fore please. Spring is now driving.

And with that, the first official sign that spring is upon us can be marked with this post — CNG’s first Masters related post of 2012. We all know there is not a finer green come spring in Georgia than Masters green, and with that, both Kentwool and Arnie have something sweet in store for us.

Kentwool’s homage to 2012’s first major championship is available for $19.95 until April 30“For many, April marks the unofficial beginning of the golf season and a time when we’re truly captivated by the world’s greatest competitors being tested by a historic course,” says Mark Kent, CEO and President of Kentwool. “As a nearly two-century old southern textile company, this is our way of celebrating this storied tradition.”

Bubba Watson, who is always front and center when it comes to style, sports Kentwool, and will be wearing this commemorative limited-edition Kentwool Tour Profile performance golf sock in classic green sock throughout Masters week at Augusta National.

The Arnie Tournament Polo. MSRP $85.On to the new Arnie line, which has been making headlines ever since the icon brand reset was announced late last year. With Arnie now in full launch mode for 2012, what better way to celebrate the major Mr. Palmer won on four occasions than issuing the Arnie Tournament Polo.

Available mid-March at Golfsmith and on fairwaystyles.com, the Arnie Tournament Polo will retail $85, and will be worn during Masters tournament week by brand ambassador Ryan Moore.

CNG will be wearing both his Kentwool socks and his Arnie Tournament Polo as his puts his feet up in front of the television for hours on end, soaking in the coverage from the start of the Par 3 Contest to the conclusion of the tournament proper. You are well advised to do the same.

And of course, wherever we choose to watch the Masters, be it in person, online, or on TV, we should all remember to wear pants. Masters trousers anyone?
