Montenmedio golf course is one of the most natural and well-kept courses in Southern Spain. The lack of development around the course, the lush Cadiz vegetation and the unbeatable climate make this course a natural paradise. Designed by Alejandro Maldonado is also considered by professionals and experts as one of Europe’s finest golf courses, where nature is respected and the beauty of the countryside.
This fantastic golf course (6.260 meters, 18 holes and par 72) is surrounded by forests of wild olive, cork oak and pine trees and has impressive views of the Atlantic, the with villages such as vejer de la frontera, Benalup and Medina, and also of the African coast of Tangiers and Espartel. A classic parkland design with the local terrain well-used to create a challenging, interesting and beautiful golfing gem, this course was designed with the club golfer in mind.
It is perhaps the most natural golf course you have ever played, but be careful: the greens are like mirrors, and the greens and bunkers are a constant challenge. As Severiano Ballesteros said in an edition of the OKI Tour, “Montenmedio is one of the Golf Courses that no golfer should miss”.
The club house is designed in neoclassic Andalusia style with Asian influences and subtle furnishings and offers excellent golf services.
