Fresh on the site this week is the new collection from Aquascutum, the brand responsible for dressing PGA Tour star, Adam Scott.

Now we all know that Adam receives a lot of coverage and is always complimented on his style and appearance, and this season’s latest offering from Aquascutum once again adheres to their core values, as a traditional brand focusing on classic cuts and trends. With statement pieces throughout the collection – such as their signature check pants and the retro-contemporary performance shirts – Aquascutum stay true to their heritage, while introducing the very finest modern fabrics.

For Autumn/Winter ’12, Aquascutum continues to lead the way in luxury clothing for the discerning golfer, effortlessly serving the requirements and styles for the golfer of today. Drawing further inspiration from classic items such as the shawl neck, the trench coat and cable knit patterns, the luxurious British golf collection is suitable for both on and off course wear.

As such, this collection is presented in four distinct stories – Sport, Club, Icon and Vacation.

Sport

The technical story features fabrics and fits presented in the following colours: red, white, silver, grey and black. Featuring Aquascutum’s signature Club Check re-coloured in tonal greys, the most prominent detailing in this collection is paneling, which keeps your look clean and sharp.

Club

Also featuring the signature Check pattern but re-coloured, this story gathers influences from the luxury environment of the Club House. Focusing on vibrant colours – such as green and blue – for a more playful look with the option for a slightly more sophisticated look with black and whites, the collection is merged with performance elements.

Icon

The classic Aquascutum Check builds the foundation of this collection with colours such as navy, oatmeal and white updated with an eye-catching burst of yellow. A modern-classic look that captures the sport and lifestyle aspect of the brand. Look out for the quilted jackets and double breasted cardigan.

Vacation

A resort focus offering based around pastel colours and brighter shades make this collection ideal for trips away or cooler days. Pastel pinks and blues are freshened up with crisp whites or made graphic with darker shades of navy.
