TrendyGolf put some of this seasons Puma Golf shoes through their paces to see how well these shoes match up to others on the market.

First up, we tried and tested the Puma Bio Fusion SL Mesh shoe. This shoe is flexible, supportive and lightweight that will change the way in which you think about your golf shoes. This shoe was taken to a couple of golf course for a few rounds and here is what was said…

How did these shoes perform during the round(s)?

These shoes are great, light weight with decent grip. I chose the fluro yellow colour which contrasting nicely against some chinos I wear out on the course. I would say that these would also pair nice with a five or six pocket pant.

What features attracted you to this shoe?

One of the reasons I chose this shoe was its versatility. I can wear these to work, to the gym and out on the course. It is by far one of the best looking sneakers that Puma Golf have created.

What are these shoes like in terms of comfort?

They were really comfortable. I am a size 8 in most shoes and these were pretty snug. This is ideal as it prevents slipping and rubbing so when shopping, choose the correct size you would normally for other shoes.

What was the durability like with these golf shoes?

I have only played a couple of rounds so far and they are still looking good. I haven’t yet been out in the rain but knowing they are waterproof means I will reach for these no matter what the weather does. Any marks that appeared during a round came off with a damp cloth.

Are these shoes lightweight?

They are extremely lightweight and comfortable. The lightest shoe I have worn out on the course.

Do they provide good stability whilst playing and walking the course?

This is one of the best shoes for me to swing in. They really helped me move through the ball and transfer my weight from my right foot to my left foot and through into the finish. There is no twisting and when the foot rolls over, it feel supportive of my ankle which is ideal.

Is there anything else you would say about these shoes?

If they weren’t so luminous, I would probably wear them to bed! I have received a few funny looks from some people out on the course and in the club house but given the colour and style, that is to be expected. Definitely a great value shoe which is waterproof, lightweight and extremely versatile. I can wear these anywhere.
