Located 80 kilometres to the east of Prague, close to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Kutna Hora, Casa Serena Golf Course is the vision of Terry Gou, the chairman of Foxconn, the largest contract manufacturer of electronics worldwide. The course resides deep in the rural Czech countryside, in the village of Roztez, alongside the chateau of the same name that Terry Gou bought and refurbished to be his personal European residence.

The course is for the use of the executives and guests of Foxconn, which has established two major manufacturing plants nearby in the towns of Kutna Hora and Pardubice.

Casa Serena Golf was designed by European Golf Design as an inland links style golf course with wide rolling fairways and large welcoming greens. Utilizing many different tee positions on each hole Casa Serena possesses the flexibility to test the skilful golfer to the limit of their abilities, whilst also offering the novice an enjoyable and manageable game. More than 80 strategically placed bunkers are ready to catch wayward drives and approaches, with each hole surrounded by beautiful, golden rescue roughs.

Since 2008, Casa Serena is host to the Casa Serena Open, one of the flagship tournaments of the European Senior Tour. There have already been great tournament winners in its history like World Golf Hall of Fame member Bernhard Langer from Germany or Englishmen Peter Mitchell and Gary Wolstenholme.
